The Problem of Evil: A talk by English theologian Reverend Michael Lloyd
Michael did his doctoral thesis at Oxford University on the problem of evil - why does God allow natural disasters? Human evil is perhaps easier to understand - we need to be free if our lives are to be meaningful and if our love is to be real. But earthquakes and diseases seem to be built into the way the world is. Why would this be, if the Creator is good and loving? Michael has a fresh approach to this age-old problem, which seeks to be both intellectually rigorous and pastorally sensitive.
