All Saints Church Outreach Commission . . . Reaching Out

 

Fellow parishioners, did you know that you and the other members of OUR church have given back nearly two million dollars to Christian charities in the last ten years? In case you didn’t know this, please read on, we have lots more good news to share.  The Outreach Commission is responsible for faithfully distributing nine percent (9%) of All Saint’s plate and pledge offerings to organizations which meet certain criteria established by the Vestry.  These groups make presentations to the members of the Outreach Commission addressing the group’s particular mission, financial status, Christian principles, and how the gift will be used to further Christ’s kingdom.

  

There are more organizations asking for help with identified needs than there are funds available.  If you have a discerning spirit, compassion for those in need, or would just plain like to get involved feel free to join us, as an active member, on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the library in the Winderweedle Center.  Come help us allocate the Lord’s resources to organizations needing assistance and meeting our criteria.
