Heart of the Family

Who are we?
An adult Sunday school class made up primarily of couples with young children through elementary school seeking fellowship with each other, our spouses, and Christ. We meet every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Winderweedle classroom.

What do we talk about?

This casual group focuses on a variety of topics that touch our daily life.

Each week stands on its own so no need for homework or feeling like you missed out on the previous week’s topic.

Who teaches this class?

We do! On a monthly basis, different couples lead the class bringing a topic for discussion. We’ve also enjoyed having guest speakers so if you’d like to come talk to our group, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What else do we do?

Tom and Liz Sims have organized a weekly family kickball game. We play every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at Blue Jacket Park on the baseball fields in Baldwin Park. The game starts around 5:00 p.m. and goes until dark. Feel free to bring dinner/snacks to enjoy before or after the game. All ages welcome!

How do I find out more?

Join our email list and you’ll get periodic updates on what we’re doing. Keep informed on topics, additional opportunities for fellowship, and changes to our meeting class/time. Send your email address to Mary Sue Halligan at mshalligan@hotmail.com.

We almost always have bagels or doughnuts on Sunday morning so grab a cup of coffee from the breezeway and come join us!
